Sulook Foundation is a registered non-profit working across Pakistan on community healthcare, preventive screening and health education.
Our mission
To make basic healthcare a matter of routine rather than luck, by bringing qualified medical teams directly to communities that cannot reach a hospital.
Our vision
A Pakistan where distance, income and gender no longer decide whether a person receives a diagnosis in time.
How it started
Sulook began with a single weekend clinic in a borrowed classroom, run by four doctors who kept meeting the same problem: patients who had waited far too long because getting to a hospital cost more than they earned in a week.
The first camp saw ninety-one people. The register from that day is still the template we use — name, diagnosis, what was dispensed, and when they should be seen again.
Everything since has been the same idea, repeated more often and organised better: qualified people, in the right place, at no cost to the patient, with a record that outlives the visit.
What we hold to
Dignity first
Patients are guests, never case numbers. Every camp is designed around privacy and respect.
Open books
Costs, donors and outcomes are documented. Anyone who funds us can see where it went.
Local partnership
We work through community leaders who stay long after our teams have packed up.
Evidence over instinct
Programs are measured, reviewed and discontinued when the data says they are not working.
